The I4WDTA® Training Standards
As a professional certifying organization, the I4WDTA® firmly believes in promoting and striving to continually achieve the highest training standards possible in 4WD education. We have the only standards-based curriculum and development program, unique in the industry, that certifies 4WD trainers.
Being an expert does not mean one is an educator.
We believe that educators need to be knowledgeable and skilled in their field of expertise, AND possess the talent to teach their subject matter (or field of expertise) to others. I4WDTA® Certified and Master Trainer’s receive curriculum-specific education in Adult Education Theory and practical training to ensure they are equipped with the tools and strategies to deliver education to a diverse population of OHV operators. We provide opportunities for our I4WDTA® Certified and Master Trainers to maintain their expert skill level through periodic Continuing Education.
As the professional certifying authority, earning the I4WDTA credentials means instructors have demonstrated, through passing our written and practical tests, that they are educators. They are both experts in their subject matter AND experts in teaching the subject matter.
For the best possible training use I4WDTA® Certified Instructors.
What does this mean to consumers and industry and government clients? Quite simply — it translates into safer vehicle operation and successful mission performance for your customer, to include lower operating costs, higher equipment availability rates, and better managed operational risk.
